Constant innovations and improvement of Reichem cable fitting are based on 50-year experience in the independent creation of materials, design development, testing, and production. The result of our work is the key technologies, which include: heat-shrinkable, elastomeric, filling, gel technologies as well as a manufacturing technology for connectors and tips. Our entire cable fitting complies with international standards, such as GOST, IEC, CENELEC, IEEE.
Installation of Reichem cable fitting is characterized by ease and does not depend on the technology of cable coupling box manufacturing. The delivery kit includes all the necessary components and instructions with the language of a country-buyer.
Tubes of heat-shrinkable coupling boxes simply slide onto a fanning out cable. When heated, they shrink with very tight waterproof cable wrap. A hot-melt adhesive and filler fill all interstices at the same time, protecting a cable from moisture and eliminating the probability of air inclusions. The design of cable fittings follows the cable’s form, which allows making installation on any cable routing. Outdoor terminations can be installed at any angle – all you have to do is turn over heat-shrinkable skirts. After the installation is completed, cable fittings can immediately be commissioned.
Heat-shrinkable products are delivered to a customer in a stretched form together with other necessary components. During installation, heat-shrinkable items shrink around a fanning out cable under the influence of heat, tightly wrapping it and creating reliable sealing and electrical insulation.
During the manufacturing of heat-shrinkable products, we use the technology that is based on the use of specially developed thermoplastic polymers. The initial compounds used for these materials are developed by our specialists and produced at our company's factories. A multi-stage production process with constant monitoring of the stages of extrusion, stitching and stretching allow us to obtain unique materials with a given wall thickness before and after shrinkage. The materials are characterized by mechanical and electrical strength, resistance to environmental attack and chemically aggressive substances. The combination of these properties ensures the main advantage of our products – durability.
